Who doesn't love listening to a story? They really do make the world go round.
Audio stories are a wonderful alternative to books. They are hands free, you can take them anywhere, they encourage inquisitive thought and let little ones' imagination run wild. Audio stories are also perfect for quiet time and bedtime.

Lucy’s stories are sweet and charming! My 3 and 5 year olds have been delighted with theirs. The stories are calming enough for bedtime but also enjoyable to listen to at other times (or on repeat constantly - as happens in our house!). We adore them!

Hello! I'm Lucy - a voice actor, writer, narrator, mum of three and the creator of all the stories in this site.
Let me tell you a short story......when my third child was a couple of weeks old and his brother and sister were not quite 3 and 5, I found myself alone with them at bedtimes. And I felt so overwhelmed. My daughter wanted to chitter chatter, my middle son wanted me to read him a bedtime story and the baby needed to feed. I simply didn't have enough hands or energy to attend to their needs separately. I remember wishing I had audio stories for the older two to listen too, while we all snuggled up together. But the only audio options I'd found were traditional fairy tales or CDs of bestselling books, which my children wanted to listen to while seeing the book!
This feeling and memory stuck with me so I decided to begin working on ideas for original and immersive audio stories particularly aimed at 3 to 7 year olds. Stories which could be taken anywhere with ease. Stories to excite and make children laugh but also with a huge heart, oozing love and warmth.
And so, Narrated by Lucy was born. Offering fun-filled audio story adventures, a sleepy-sleepy time collection and unique, personalised audio stories where your child is the feature of the story.
